Homecoming – after the silence

Hello everyone. Let’s face it, it’s not as if I was going to stay quiet forever… I was busy moving, can you guess where to?

And of course, as usual, I am not alone

So yes, I went to London now I’m … here. I recently came across a great quote via the amazing Bangs & A Bun and I believe it really epitomises this bizarre chapter in my life. Maybe it rings true to you too?

“Sometimes on the way to the dream you get lost
and find a better one”

Love you all, thanks for sticking with me xx

  2. Oh gorgeous gorgeous photos! I love the square format: my friend Lucie was banging on about Instagram and my brother is always sending these great shots from his phone – with that border – but I’ll have to read your previous post, I guess, to figure out.. I don’t think I can do it with my phone, it’s not an iPhone but a Samsung Wave. And does this old dog really have room to learn yet another new trick?

But especially – as a London resident, and now, I can proudly say, a REAL as well as virtual friend, I agree that sometimes you get lost on the way to a dream, and find a better one. And if I could whisk us to Barcelona this minute, I’d do it! (I feel disloyal to London just saying that, while outside the window storm clouds gather.. again). I keep thinking that it was about May, that we got on a train in the centre of town, and twenty minutes later we were stepping off onto soft white sand and swimming in turquoise waters. I am so happy for you, Jessie. And Nero is so cute!

There’s another saying I love: ‘If you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans.’
